The air outside may have been brisk but the November 4 wedding of Giselle and Mike overflowed with warm hearts and lots of Latin dance sizzle.
A full catholic mass at the elegant yet modern Saint Joan of Arc Church in San Ramon set an inspirational tone for their exchange of vows. Then the mood shifted into party mode as guest headed over to Casa Real Event Center in Pleasanton.
The staff at Casa Real goes the extra mile to make sure guests are treated like royalty. Appetizers and a full bar kept guests busy as everyone awaited the arrival of the Bride and Groom and the official start of the reception. As the wedding party waited to make its grand entrance, Casa Real made sure they had plenty to eat and provided them with private wait staff to ensure their comfort.
The DJs from Marquis Entertainment, set a mellow mood for the cocktail hour and dinner but really kept the party rocking once the dancing began. Head DJ, Marquis Harris, got everyone on the dance floor and then let the music do the talking. I saw quite a few couples who could have been professional latin dancers. What a fun group!
I can’t wait to see the photos taken by Robby Skog Photography. He seemed to be every where at once and knew exactly how to help the couple look their best.
Reb 6 Studios handled the videography. With a crew of three, they captured every moment as well as several where the Bride and Groom got to test their acting skills.
Design Florals turned the reception and entry area into a fairy tale of flowers and soft candle light. I especially loved the huge hydrangeas. Orchids and crystals hung Manzanita branches on some tables and roses in shades of pink to antique lavender floated in glass vases surrounded by candles.
At the end of a mouth-watering meal, scrumptious cupcakes by Cake Creations by Bev awaited the guests.
I plan to post more pictures from this fabulous wedding later this week.
Here’s to Love,
Bonnie Phelps
